Observing the stars , since past few years, the terrace garden, my small piece under the sky, connecting with God, my friend, himself, the guides, the nature spirits, the plants, the flowers, all these emotions, feelings all poured on the canvas, finished an abstract cubism artwork "enchanting garden".
The stars peeping between the clouds, shining bright, playing hide and seek, still and quiet, there is a spiritual belief that you connect with a star. A corresponding star, your friend in the sky, I have instantly connected with the most brightest star, and since the past six years as I get time before sunset and the dawn moments this star shining so bright amongst all the others, even when the sky is dull, cloudy, little foggy this star seems appearing so close to me, inspiration for another artwork..the formations among them, the relationships with one star and the other forming patterns, lines, shapes, triangles, connections...some known some unknown.. always being in mode of thanks giving to the universal life force, and emotions of universal love in abundance, I thank God for being my friend, the one who always understands me, guides me, gives only the best for me, solitude , my choice.
I knew inspiration would come from the garden plants, nature spirits, but I did not want to make floral art. Avoiding the emotions since the past many years, keeping to my symbols, the new healing from fragrant flowers flowing from my heart, pouring on my canvas, going with the flow..

Evening star appears first, a shining bright light, just like the core star, clear, bright, fresh against the dull sky with a backdrop of sunset. As each one begins to appear, there is a blanket of stars shining. Before dawn the stars are at their best, shining in the dark night sky. As dawn appears they begin to disappear, as I thought when I was a child, no they do not disappear, it is just that the sun's light is more stronger and then begins another journey of staying dormant, waiting for the evening, appearing again..the same every day, once in a while with a cloudy sky no stars seem to be visible, they are still there..
the art and the artist must play with the dark and the night, as I am tempted to avoid using any Reiki symbols, the fear that I become monotonous, stop when I am full of healing energy, divert, before while I get into the rut of making day in and day out the same art. Symbols will be there, the intentions will be there to make happy art, they may sometime appear again or maybe not, do not know..as I continue this spiritual journey, no commissions please , I am sorry, cannot follow , just love to paint.

I also thank all my blog readers, keep me going..symbolism will always be there, just the thoughts will begin to change, an artist friend commented my work is different, even in abstract spiritualism as from her, some other one commented that they feel the good vibes from viewing and another did mention the deep involvement with a symbol..whatever you say I make art from my heart! The outgrown terrace garden needed organising and I had to part with a few babies, the cherry tree, the blueberry, the orange and the chickoo , for giving them a better place to grow to their best. The fragrant white jasmine a dominating one among the rest!
The blue and the red, always try to balance colors by spiritual energy paintings and earth energy ones, as I paint few of my favorite colours (french Ultramarine Blue and Prussian Blue, Mauve), I also use more of reds, love, the energy or oranges and reds, maybe my personality is transforming to balanced one, not me but according to the principles of feng shui, but the paintings are made out of my inner need for getting healed. As I am at peace with myself, i continue this spritual journey...
My symbols, my friends, my guides, you may or maynot agree, I am not here to prove something, against something or make some point, do not question my integrety , my love for the fresh smell of oils and the freshly streched blank canvas..a very huge artwork, my dream..nothing to beat this!

Artists following any genre, landscape, still life, nature, abstarct, symbolic, scared art do try to connect with the past artists from our art history. Since the art history is immense and as we go on painting every artists like to feel a belonging a connection to some or the other artist from our art history, we say we are influenced, we like , or we observe so and so famopus artsits' art.
I am as elf taught artist and not so very familiar with the art history or the famous artists' except for the few I have heard, like M.F. Husaain and S.H. Raza. Years back I had been attracted to a Book on the life of Kandinsky which I tried to read and understand.Many artists read and observe artworks of senior artists, they say we are influenced by this artist and they paint. Is it copying the art, the same colour combinations, the same themes , the topics and the strokes. Being influenced is one thing and imitating the art is another. i do not say they make art intentionally but the influence can be seen by the viewer, as a mini made art from a junior artist, a sibling or an heir of the famous senior artists gone by and took a special place in history art.
There is a fine line between being influenced and making the same art and every artist needs to understand this. There is no problem in viewing other artist art and even obeserving and learning from past famous senior artist art,as there would not have been any progress if everyone kept making the same mistakes our life would fall short !
I think we must read, observe and learn, but then give some time. A break to go back on the knowledge, understand the art deeply try to figure out what we loved best, what colours we would select from the observed famous artists colour themes. Instead of barging in after visiting an art gallery and taking the brush in hand it would be better to analyse our emotions and think before we begin work on our paintings. By this we will not only keep our originality but also art history will see a great progress and viewers will keep getting an aesthetic treat!
I aim to make simple, colourful, and understandable art. Art that heals; Symbols that work.
